This category is aimed to list organizations which themselves do not conduct scientific research, but aim to spread information about research results in the field of biochemistry. These organizations organize meetings, provide research grants for scientists in the field and other activities for the promotion of biochemistry. Any scientist active in the field should be able to become member of such an organization, and this is regarded as a major criterion for selection of the sites listed in this category
