Property Finders are not registered Real Estate Agents and are operating through a loophole in NZ law which allows them to conditionally contract a property using the "or nominee" clause in the Sale and Purchase Agreement. If the Finder is not then able to sell the property on they will release the property back to the vendor.Property Finders are generally used by residential investors to simplify the purchasing process.
