The following is a guide to assist you in deciding to which sub-category your establishment belongs.  Please note that the name of your establishment is irrelevant in determining the right sub-category, e.g. if you provide dormitory accommodation for backpackers and call yourself a resort you should still be listed under Hostels. If you are not sure, please submit to the main Accommodation category and your site will be listed in the correct sub-category after review.

Bed & Breakfast - usually a privately-owned residence with paying guest accommodation, facilities and breakfast included.

Hostel - catering mostly for backpackers with dormitory accommodation available

Resort - to be listed as a resort a complex should be self-contained in terms of food and drink, activities, recreation and facilities or be a recognised destination in its own right instead of simply a place to stay.

Hotel - usually a purpose-built or converted building comprising rooms and suites, with dining and bar facilities.

Apartments - self-catering, self-contained units with or without hotel facilities.  Individual and complexes of other holiday homes may also be listed here.

Motels - rooms or units with private access targeted at motorists with or without hotel facilities.

Caravan Parks - facilities for caravans and/or campers.
