Real Estate categories are often targets for inappropriate submissions. Many agents will attempt to list their sites multiple times, in each city in which they sell Real Estate. Also agents will sometimes add their same site, but will submit it using different URLs to many localities in order to get their site listed multiple times. Local editors are aware of these practices, and carefully look at other Real Estate categories to ensure that an agent or agency site is not listed in another locality.

Real estate agents may list one site only, in the locality where their office is physically located. Brokerages may also list one site at the locality where their office is located, or at county level if the company has multiple offices in more than one locality in the county, but will be listed no more than once in any case. Multiple submissions of the same or alternate URLs can lead to an agent or company being banned from the directory.

If an agent changes offices or a description change is needed, go back one page, click Update URL, and submit the corrected information in that way, not as a new submission.

Format Site Title As Follows (for an agent site:) Agent Name - Company Name (for a company site:) Company Name

Tips for Faster Acceptance:

1. Location must be clearly shown, preferably by address or local phone number. 2. Make sure the submitted title follows the above formatting. 3. In the description, stick to the facts and avoid promotional language. 4. Mention no more than three specialty areas. Don't stuff descriptions with keywords. 5. Don't Capitalize Every Word or use ALL CAPS.

Please check for a more specific subcategory prior to making a submission. Submitting to the wrong category WILL delay your site's listing.

Please submit to only one locality - the one where your business is located, as your site will only be listed once - and use the following formatting:

Title for agents: Agent Name - Company Name Title for companies: Company Name

Description: Services offered, areas of service, and features on the site such as virtual tours and online forms.

Once the site is listed, please do not submit again unless your site changes substantially, such as virtual tours are added or the agency name or location changes. If this occurs, please use the Update URL option to notify us.
