The East End of Long Island, New York in the United States is split at Riverhead (which is at the mouth of the Riverhead River and the head of the Peconic Bays) into two points, Montaulk and Orient. Cutchogue is an unincorporated hamlet of Southold Town in the heart of the North Fork, halfway to Orient Point.
