Top: Regional: North_America: United_States: Massachusetts: Travel_and_Tourism: Lodging: Bed_and_Breakfast

Only Massachusetts guides, directories and lodging establishments with locations in more than one County belong in this category.

Information on more than one town but in the same county should not be submitted here but to the most specific Massachusetts County.

Information limited to one town or city should be submitted to the most specific Locality.

Notice: Please do NOT resubmit your site if you do not find it immediately. It often takes several weeks for a site to be listed, if it is listed at all. Wait at least 4-6 weeks to check back.

When you do check back, if you do not see your site in this category's listing, it may be because it was determined that your site is more appropriate for another area of the directory. Try doing a search on your URL (starting with everything after www.) to see where it might be.

Remember that most businesses are listed in the town or city in which they are based. Failure to follow these guidelines will only result in longer delays in listing your site.

AAA classifies a Bed and Breakfast as a limited service lodging type with the following definition;

"Usually smaller establishments emphasizing a more personal relationship between operators and guests, leading to an "at home" feeling. Guest units tend to be individually decorated. Rooms may not include some modern amenities such as television and telephones, and may have a shared bathroom. Usually owner-operated, with a common room or parlor, separate from the innkeeper's living quarters, where guests and operators can interact during evening and breakfast hours. Evening office closures are normal. A continental or full, hot breakfast is served and is included in the room rate."
