Please submit only sites dealing with US Navy ships dealing with Mine Warfare in this category.

Ships are categorized by their hull classification code (based on the Naval Vessel Register, www.nvr.navy.mil).

Aircraft Carrier

This is where you will find links to websites about naval vessels in the Aircraft Carrier (CV, CVN, CVA, CVAN, CVE, CVHE, CVS, CVL) class. These sites include historical and currently active ships.

Auxiliary

This is where you will find links to websites about naval vessels in the Auxiliary (ACS, AD, ADG, AE, AF, AFS, AG, AGC, AGDS, AGEH, AGER, AGF, AGFF, AGM, AGMR, AGOR, AGOS, AGP, AGR, AGS, AGSS, AH, AK, AKA, AKL, AKR, AKS, AKV, AN, ANL, AO, AOE, AOG, AOR, AOT, AP, APA, APB, APC, APD, AR, ARB, ARC, ARG, ARL, ARS, ARSD, ARST, ARVA, ARVE, ARVH, AS, ASR, AT, ATA, ATF, ATS, AV, AVB, AVM, AVT, AW) classes. These sites include currently active ships and historical websites.

By Name and Classification

Links to ships, by name. If a ship is named after a person, you'll find links under both the first and last names. For example: USS Abraham Lincoln is found under both "A" and "L". If more than one hull has the same name, they will be distinguished by the addition of their hull classification code and number. Example:

USS Antietam - CG54
USS Antietam - CV36

If both hulls were the same hull classification (and thus information lives in the same sub-directory), the link would look like this:

USS Alabama - BB8, BB60
