Albany Metro

Athens Metro

Consists of the counties of Clarke, Oconee, Madison and Oglethrope per US Census.

Atlanta Metro

Most sites should be submitted to a locality. Sites which may be listed at metro level include:
  • Businesses with offices or locations in multiple counties spanning the metro area.
  • Clubs or associations drawing members from the entire metro.
  • Governmental, scientific or environmental sites concerned with a multi-county area.
  • Certain types of "come to you" service providers.

As used here, this metro area is defined as the area included in the definitions supplied by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Augusta Metro

Coastal Georgia

Most sites should be submitted to a locality. Sites which may be listed at region level include:

This region encompasses nine coastal counties: Bryan, Bulloch, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long and McIntosh.

Columbus Metro

All sites must comply with ODP guidelines.

This category covers sites pertaining to the region of West Georgia.

Macon Metro

All sites must comply with ODP guidelines.

This category covers sites pertaining the region of Middle Georgia.

North Georgia Mountains

The North Georgia region is the northern most rural region of the state that is roughly defined as the area covered by the Chattahoochee National Forest.

Sites submitted/listed in this category must primarily focus on this area, but may include surrounding communities.

Sites focusing on north Georgia communities in the Atlanta, Chattanooga, TN, or Greenville-Spartanburg, SC metro areas should be submitted to these categories.

The North Georgia region is the northern most rural region of the state that is roughly defined as the area covered by the Chattahoochee National Forest.

Savannah Metro

Regions or Equivalent categories at the state or country level should include: Sites about the region as a whole. Sites for entities whose operational area is specifically limited to the Region. If a site for an entity has a "brick and mortar" address and explicitly covers the Region, these guidelines will help you decide where to appropriately list the site.

This category covers sites pertaining to the region of Coastal Georgia.
