Bed and Breakfast (often referred to as B&B) facilities are small-scale accommodations located in the proximity of the operator's lodgings, often providing a common area for television, reading and other passive recreational activity. A dining room is provided for serving breakfast. Interaction with the facility's host(s) is often encouraged to provide a sense of being in a home.
