Submissions must pertain specifically to the Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut.
The Pequots were an Algonquin-speaking tribe which, at the time of their first contact with Europeans, populated southeastern Connecticut from the Nehantic River eastward to the border of Rhode Island. The Pequot and Mohegan were originally a single tribe which migrated to eastern Connecticut sometime around 1500.

The Eastern Pequot reservation today is a 280-acre parcel of land located in North Stonington. The Pequots actively pursue the preservation of their culture and quality of life for tribal members.
