Morris [Litchfield County] was incorporated from Litchfield in 1859 and named from a prominent resident, James Morris.rea, 18.7 sq. miles. Population, 2000 Census, 2,301. Voting Districts, 1. Principal industry, agriculture and light industry. Bantam Lake, the largest natural lake in the state and a popular summer resort lies mostly within the town.
Morris includes the area known as Lakeside.
