Wilmington is part of the City of Los Angeles. It is the "Heart of the Los Angeles Harbor" and conduit to trade with the Pacific Rim. Wilmington boasts of a proud history. It was a bustling port city when Los Angeles was a remote village. It has a genuine Civil War site at the Drum Barracks and a beautiful Victorian Mansion at the Banning Residence Museum.
