Felicity, California is in Imperial County and was founded in 1986 by Jacques-Andre Istel. He is the mayor and one-half of the town's population; the other is his wife, after whom the town was named. One of the largest cities in Orange County, Fullerton was founded in 1887 by George and Edward Amerige and named for George H.
