Site Submission Basics for Regional Categories
  1. Before submitting a site, be sure to read the category description. Submitting a site to an inappropriate category can greatly delay its consideration.

Geographic area of websites

Most Regional sites are listed according to the physical location(s) of the site's subject. Others are listed according to the geographic focus of the site, such as directories, membership organizations, governmental bodies, service agencies, businesses located in multiple areas, and those few types of business listed by service area.

Campgrounds are designated areas that allow camping, either in a tent or a Recreational Vehicle (also known as an RV). Types of RVs may include pop-ups, truck campers, Class A motorhomes, Class B motorhomes (conversion vans), Class C motorhomes (mini motorhomes), travel trailers, 5th wheel travel trailers, bus conversions, and caravans.

Types of campgrounds range from primitive sites with no water or utilities to "RV parks" with utilities, cable TV, and modem hookups. They may be privately owned or located in national parks or forests.
