River John is located in Pictou County on the north shore of Nova Scotia. It is a small village whose facilities include a library, CAP site, doctor's office, pharmacy, co-op store, elementary school, fire hall, post office, restaurants and gas station among others. Its serves a large rural area between Pictou and Tatamagouche.
River Ryan is situated in Cape Breton County on Highway 28 South of New Waterford, between Scotchtown and Gardiner Mines.
Riverport is located in Lunenburg County on Highway 332 between Rose Bay and LaHave.
