The community of East Selkirk is a few minutes northeast of Winnipeg in the R.M. of St. Clements.

The rural community of Elm Creek (Rural Municipality of Grey) is situated in south central Manitoba, midway between Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie. It is home to the world's largest fire hydrant, 29.5 feet tall.
Erickson is situated in the Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam, near Leda Lake, on Highway 10, between Onanole to the north and Minnedosa to the south.
With an elevation of 2054 feet, Erickson is the highest town in Manitoba.
The Erickson Municipal Airport is a fully approved 3000 ft paved airstrip. It is approved for air ambulance service and has approved lighting for night flying.
Regular bus service is provided to Erickson by Grey Goose Bus lines.
