The Census Metropolitan Area of Abotsford is in the Central Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, and is on the eastern edge of Greater Vancouver. It is the municipal area as outlined by Statistics Canada and includes the City of Abbotsford, the District Municpality of Mission, the Fraser Valley H Regional District Electoral Area, and the Matsqui Main 2 and Upper Sumas 6 First Nations Reserves.
