Compton, Stoughton, and the Mardens are small settlements to the North West of Chichester. Compton and West Marden (with Walderton) are on the B2146 between South Harting to the north and Funtingdon to the south. The settlements of Marden, Up Marden and East Marden lie to the north between the B2146 and the B2141, which passes through North Marden.
