This category contains details of restaurants and take away services offering Balti, Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani, Tandoori and related cuisines. Although strictly the term "Balti" is incorrect for many of these cuisines, the term is widely recognised throughout Birmingham.The Balti Triangle (a collection of restaurants close to Sparkbrook and Moseley) is the most concentrated area of "genuine" Balti restaurants. There is much argument as to the first actual Balti House is Birmingham, but regardless the City was certainly responsible for introducing the cuisine to the UK.
