You should only submit sites to this category if they are connected to restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes or bistros in York. Any dining guides should be submitted to the Guides and Directories subcategory, and if your establishment primarily offers accommodation, please consider submitting it to the relevant Accommodation category in this part of the directory.

A good description is unbiased and describes the content of the site, for example a pub could be "Real ale pub on the outskirts of York specialising in bar meals. Site contains menus, opening times and a history of the pub.". Any superlatives will be removed from the description, and please don't add "York" to the title unless it is in the name of the establishment, since all sites in this category are in York!
