Shanklin is a popular seaside resort on the Isle of Wight, just south of Sandown on the south coast. The old village and the chine are its main attractions along with the sandy beach. It is separated from Sandown to the North by Lake. An adjacent hamlets is Luccombe to the south (Note: Ninham to the west is classed as part of Apse Heath).
