To qualify for a listing here sites should be based in the UK and sell food and/or drink that are packaged as gifts to the UK or worldwide.

A customer must be able to order from the site without leaving there home. Common mechanisms which would suffice to justify a listing are:

+ Integrated online shopping-cart systems that allow the user to order directly over the Web.
+ Systems that allow the user to generate an order form to be sent to the merchant via fax or snail-mail.
+ Simple directories of products and prices that the user can order via mail or phone.

Please note the following site types DO NOT belong here:

  • Businesses that sell ONLY to other businesses.
  • Local shops (that do not accept orders to deliver
    nationwide), restaurants and pubs.
  • Nationwide shopping chains who do not offer customers some way of buying the goods from their own home.

Sites whose primary focus is to allow UK consumers to select and obtain food and/or drink related gifts without leaving their home.

Hampers

To qualify for a listing here sites should be based in the UK and sell hampers to the UK or worldwide.

A customer must be able to order from the site without leaving there home. Common mechanisms which would suffice to justify a listing are:
