BBC sitcom written by Richard Curtis, starring Dawn French as Geraldine, a female vicar who comes to the St Barnabas Church in the small village of Dibley. The fun loving vicar becomes immediately popular with the villagers but finds herself at odds with the grumpy, right-wing local councillor (played by David Horton) who disagrees with the vicar's fresh, liberal attitude and ideas. First broadcast on BBC1 in November 1994.
