Sites relating to the rural municipality Noarootsi (Estonian: Noarootsi vald, Swedish: Nuckö kommun), located in north western Estonian mainland. The municipality has a population of approximately 900 people. Prior to the second world war, nearly two thirds of the population of Noarootsi consisted of Swedish speakers. Most place names still have both Estonian and Swedish names.
