This category is for sites emanating from and relating to the state of Selangor. The state geographically encompasses the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, hence sites that only incidentally relates to Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are appropriate in this category.
Districts are defined official administrative areas in the state of Selangor.
In general, a district contains a number of localities, that are cross-linked to the appropriate city, town, township, and neighborhood communities in Localities categories.
Do note that districts boundaries used by bodies such as Electoral Commission, and Utilities Companies may differ slightly with respect to which localities should be in which districts.
This category is for sites relating to all aspects of the government of the State of Selangor. This will include information on statutory bodies working for the state government, departments and various research organisations.
The items in the Localities category are meant to provide a way for people searching for web links related to a specific location in the state of Selangor. Currently there are less than a hundred city, town, township, and neighborhood communities listed in the state.
If you know what district the community is located in, it may be easier to look in the Districts category first. All communities and districts have been cross-linked to make finding the information you are looking for easier to find.
