Oklahoma Baptist University

OBU was founded in 1906 when the Baptists of Oklahoma Territory, realizing the great need for a Christian emphasis among institutions of higher learning, appointed a commission to make plans for the founding of a Baptist University. A board of trustees was elected in 1907, and in 1910 the school was granted articles of incorporation.

Oklahoma Christian University

Oklahoma Christian University is a four-year, private coed liberal arts university emphasizing spiritual growth and career preparation. On a 200-acre campus on the north side of Oklahoma City, the state capital, Oklahoma Christian offers a close academic community within a metropolitan area of 1,000,000 people.

Oklahoma Christian has 2,000 students from virtually all 50 states and several countries. The university has international study programs in Europe and the Pacific Rim.

Oklahoma Panhandle State University

Located in in Goodwell, Oklahoma. OPSU is a baccalaureate degree granting institution.

Created by an act of the Oklahoma State Legislature in 1909 as Pan-Handle Agricultural Institute offering secondary agricultural education for the Panhandle area. In 1921, the legislature authorized the school to offer a two-year college curriculum, and the name was changed to Panhandle Agricultural and Mechanical College. In 1967, the school was designated as Oklahoma Panhandle State College of Agriculture and Applied Science. In 1974, the University assumed its present name.

Saint Gregory's University

A Roman Catholic university offering a liberal arts education that has been cherished and handed down in the educational institutions of the Benedictine Order for more than 1,400 years. Located in Shawnee, OK, St. Gregory's was established in 1875 and is the state's oldest institution of higher education, its first laptop university and the state's fastest-growing college or university.

St. Gregory's is also one of the most affordable private universities in the state as well as the one most affordable Catholic university in the entire nation.
