A: While definitions of the Middle East vary, here we include Syria, Turkey, Cyprus, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq and Iran.

2   Q: What is a travelogue?
A: A travelogue is a personal account on a journey to one or more of the countries in the Middle East. It usually contains a text and photos.

3   Q: If I want to advertise my hotel business, travel agencies and activities that take place in the country, may I add the URL to this category?
A: No. There are several other categories to choose from. Browse the ODP and look for an appropriate category. The main category for the country in the Regional tree is usually the best starting point for browsing.

A: Well, to put it this way: the editor has the liberty to reject web sites with very scarce content. The content also need to have a personal touch. But how you want to design and what content you choose is up to you.

5   Q: What if my web site contains of photos but no narrative?
A: The important thing is that the web site contains a travelers personal experience from a journey to one of the region's countries. If this can be conveyed with photos and short comments, then your web site may be suitable for this category. But photos alone belong to other categories like: Regional/Middle_East/Maps_and_Views/ with sub-categories.
