The Girl Scouts of the USA is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. WAGGS is the world's largest organization for girls — just for girls. It serve over 10 million of them around the globe through a program of five levels that span ages 5 to 25. The GSUSA has over 2.7 million members. It was founded by Juliette Low in 1912 after she returned from a trip to England where she had met scouting's founder Robert Baden-Powell.
