The Order of the Arrow, OA, is a national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. Founded by Dr. E. Urner Goodman and Carroll A. Edson in 1915, it seeks to develop and maintain a lasting brotherhood of cheerful service, Scout camping traditions and spirit, and appreciation for Native American culture. Central Region
Serving North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, West Virginia and Kansas.
Northeast Region
Serves lodges in councils throughout the states of the northeastern United States, Puerto Rico, Transatlantic, and the Virgin Islands. Its chief purpose is the promotion of the OA program and leadership through its region.
Southern Region
Serving Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Western Region
Serving Alaska, Washington, Arizona, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Idaho, Utah, South Dakota, North Dakota, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, Nebraska, Hawaii, and the international BSA.
