Please submit your site to the appropriate sub-category for the province where the campground is located. Only sites containing information on more than one province should be submitted to the main category. The title should be the official name of the site. If the site is for a business, please give the official name of the business as the title. When describing the site, include pertinent information such as location and services offered. Do NOT use any sales hype such as "Best campground in Ontario!" Sites dealing with camps should be sent to the appropriate section of Recreation/Camps. Sites for trailer parks (also known as mobile home parks, residential caravan parks, or park home estates) should be sent to the appropriate location in Regional. |
Campgrounds are designated areas that allow camping, either in a tent or a Recreational Vehicle (also known as an RV). Types of RVs may include pop-ups, truck campers, Class A motorhomes, Class B motorhomes (conversion vans), Class C motorhomes (mini motorhomes), travel trailers, 5th wheel travel trailers, bus conversions, and caravans.Types of campgrounds range from primitive sites with no water or utilities to "RV parks" with utilities, cable TV, and modem hookups. They may be privately owned or located in government owned areas such as national parks or forests.
