If a writer has a specific focus or style of writing represented by a narrower category in the directory (for example, sportswriters), please submit to that category only (for example, Sports/Resources/News_and_Media/Columnists).

Please do not submit

• archives or collections of personal or amateur columns from unpublished authors: these are usually more appropriate to News/Analysis_and_Opinion/Personal or News Weblogs or any of the Personal Homepage categories in the directory.
• serialized works
• journals, ezines, message boards, or other collections from multple authors: these should be placed in the relevant category for the subject matter.

Personal blogs, short entry logs, and non-humorous commentary, are not appropriate and need to be submitted to another weblog category in directory.
