Mario is often considered to be one of Nintendo's main mascots. He has been the main character in a large variety of games from Nintendo, from the platform game Super Mario Sunshine, to the golf game Mario Golf. By character, Mario is a plumber. His storylines however normally revolve around finding Princess Peach, who often is captured by Bowser, the traditional foe of the games.

Princess Peach has been captured by Bowser, and has been sealed somewhere within the walls of her castle. The player controls Mario who needs to collect magical stars, which will eventually break the seal to where Princess Peach is being held.

Mario and some of his friends have gone on holiday to a tropical island. However, a fiend is polluting the island and Mario gets blamed. With the help of a water spraying device, Mario must clean up the island and catch the imposter.
