This category is for sites about board games which tell about the history of the game, give instructions on strategy, or are helpful to kids or teens wanting to learn about the game in some other way.

Battleship

Please only submit sites about the board game, not the video game alternatives.

The classic game where two players call out coordinates to discover the location of eachother's ships.

Checkers

The classic eight-by-eight board game with jumping and kings.

Chess

This is the place for sites which teach kids about chess.

Mancala

One of the oldest games in existence.

Monopoly

Websites primarily about Monopoly can be submitted to this category.

The content of any website submitted to Kids and Teens must be suitable and of interest to young people under the age of 18.

We do not list the following types of websites in Kids and Teens:

  • Sites which provide adult oriented content.
  • Commercial websites (e.g. online stores).
  • Websites made up of affiliate links.
  • Websites aimed at adults about children.
  • Websites that are under construction, or that provide little content.

We are not a search engine and pride ourselves on being highly selective. We don't accept all sites, so please don't take it personally should your site not be accepted.

In Monopoly, the players move around the board buying property, taking chances, and paying rent to other players. If you own a set of properties, you can build houses and hotels, and therefore charge the other players more money if they land there. The winner of the game is the person with the most money at the end.
