CPR means cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, and refers to the technique of attempting to save the life of someone whose heart has stopped.
EAR, or expired-air resuscitation, is the process of exhaling into the lungs of someone who has stopped breathing on their own, but whose heart is still beating.Both methods need to be taught and practised to be effective, but sites in this category provide additional information about the techniques and their use.
