Please only submit sites for Volunteer (unpaid) Coast Guard organizations here. Use the next category up for full time professional paid units, and the Lifeboat Station category for units that go by the name of a Lifeboat Station.

Descriptions should include specific information of the unique qualities and features of the site contents. Avoid advertising hype, overuse of capitalization, and emphatic punctuation. Do use the English language, proper grammar, and a spell-checker.

Redirected sites, multiple URL's for the same organization, and mirror sites are not desirable.

The web sites of the Volunteer Coast Guard Organizations listed in this section, give a window into the lives and activities of groups of dedicated individuals who give their unpaid time and effort to helping other people who are in distress or danger at sea. Typically Coast Guard units will provide safety at sea education as well as carrying out search and rescue operations. Quite often they will put their own lives at risk to help others.

Note: Some countries use Coastguard as one word.
