Spiritual based counseling is generally non-denominational and assists us in our core belief systems, as opposed to physical or mental health. The basic premise of this type of counseling is to help us to find inner peace and balance, usually misaligned by every day stresses and emotional triggers. Another use is to help find a comfortable path to faith and our own unique belief in a higher power.
