This is a pretty straight-forward category; it is strictly for providers of non-medical home health services. Specifically, persons and agencies that offer "unskilled" services, such as companion/homemaker and sitter services, should list their website here. Those who offer "skilled" services, such as nursing or related services, should choose the appropriate subcategory in the "Health" master category. Likewise, multi-disciplinary service providers (an agency that offers both "Non-medical Home Health Services" and "Temporary Medical Office Staffing", for instance) should probably attempt to find a more broad--though still appropriate--category or subcategory to submit their listing to. Please note that you cannot do both...you are permitted one listing in the ODP topical categories. If your agency offers any service that is beyond the scope of non-medical home health care, you likely belong in some other category. Posting to the wrong subcategory can significantly delay your listing within the ODP. |
