A type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell).

Common leukemia also called acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL). Generally occurs in children under the age of ten, but it can appear in any age group. ALL or acute means that the disease can get worse quickly.

Treatment may depend on the age of the patient as ALL is referred to as either Adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia or Childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
