Popularized in the late 1990's, Extreme Sports have popularized such sports as snowboarding, skateboarding, and freestyle BMX. This category is for video games that allow the player to race or compete in multiple Extreme Sports or for sites that cover multiple games in the Extreme Sports universe.

Play Brother or Sister Bear in sledding, biking, freestyle kayaking and dirt boarding. Take the family through tobogganing and rafting courses. Race against the clock over terrain studded with trees, rocks, gaps, logs, waterfalls or rapids. The fastest competitor wins the all-around extreme sports championship.
For the Game Boy Color.
These games from Sony allow the player to compete on a skateboard, in-line skates, or snowboard.
The first game in the series was ESPN Extreme Games, but ESPN declined to extend the licensing beyond that. 2Xtreme followed, then 3Xtreme.
