Crosswords

Puzzles included in this category must be playable online, printable games belong in Games/Puzzles/Crosswords.

Contains online browser based crossword puzzles.

Falling Tile Puzzles

Online puzzle games that involve manipulating, zapping, or matching tiles together, generally under the influence of gravity. Tetris has it's own category.

Jigsaw Puzzles

Web games about putting together a picture divided into small, irregularly shaped pieces. They are named after a 'jig saw', a small maneuverable saw that was used to cut out the wooden versions of these puzzles.

Memory

This category is for memory games that are playable online.

Peg Solitaire

This category is for Peg Solitaire games that are playable online. The goal of Peg Solitaire is to remove pegs from the board by jumping over each peg with another peg until only one peg remains.

Sliding Tile Puzzles

Puzzles where fifteen pieces are scrambled in a grid with one empty space and you have to rearrange them. And variations upon the theme.

Sudoku

Sites which are not primarily about playing Sudoku in a web browser, including generators and solvers, should be submitted to Games: Puzzles: Brain Teasers: Sudoku.
Sudoku is a logic puzzle where the aim is to place the numbers 1 through 9 in every square in the 9x9 grid so that every row, column and 3x3 "region" includes each number once only.

Tangram

For Tangram puzzle games that can be played online.

Tetris

Please only submit Tetris games that work within a browser window.

In a game of Tetris, tiles which consist of colored blocks fall from the top of the screen to the bottom. The idea is the user needs to rotate and/or move the blocks before they reach the bottom with the aim of producing lines of blocks.

This category is for games which try to emulate Tetris in a browser window.
