Nightmare Creatures is an action-adventure, survival horror game for the Sony PlayStation (One) and PC released in 1997. It is produced by Kalisto.

It all begins way back in 1666, when a devil worshipping cult called the Brotherhood of Hecate was conducting sinister experiments in London. In order to take over the city, and then the world, the Brothers tried to develop a potion that would turn them into supermen. Of course, this research was conducted with the liberal use of corpses, plague samples, etc., and of course it all went horribly wrong. Instead of creating the master race long before Nieztsche came up with the concept, the Brotherhood cranked out a bunch of, well, nightmare creatures instead.

Nightmare Creatures 2 puts you in the shoes and straitjacket of Herbert Wallace, certified looney and angry test subject of Dr. Adam Crowley. Crowley is looking to invoke the spirit of an ancestor to endow himself with untold power, and it's up to Wallace to escape his asylum and stop Crowley.
