This category focuses on online and physical site retailers of software.
| This category catalogs ecommerce sites that offer discounts on productivity software to the Academic community only. Generally, sites offer "boxed" products for sale but some may offer products for download or online use. Academic software generally implies productivity applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) offered at a discount to schools and students. Educational software is software that teaches a subject (math, reading, etc.) and should be submitted to Computers/Software/Educational. If your site is not exclusive to the academic community, please submit to Computers/Software/Retailers/Discount instead. To increase your chances of acceptance, please do not write your description as if it were an ad. Describe your site, not the products that you sell. Do not use superlatives (best, most, biggest, etc.), exclamation points, or all-caps. Read the existing listings and pattern your submission after them. |
