Mach

Mach is a POSIX conformant BSD UNIX, with a complete internet protocol suite and a gnu-based software development environment that runs as a MacOS application. This allows Macintosh tools such as editors (BBEDIT or Alpha) , Configuration Managment (Projector), and other tools to work with Machtens Unix tools such as gcc, RCS, AYAC etc.
