Image Cataloguing is a process that locates all graphics files in a specified path and enters into a database information regarding the file which some time includes location, media details, timestamp, size, and creates a 'thumbnail' of the image.

In a number of programs the features include search, image export, sorting options organizing, cataloging, managing, browsing, manipulating, processing, storing, sharing, and printing.
