SIBO refers to an early family of Psion devices (dating from 1989 onwards) running a 16bit operating system (this was unofficially known as EPOC16). The devices used 8086-family processors and 16-bit architecture.Specific SIBO devices included the: MC200, MC400, Series 3, Series 3a, Series 3c, Series 3mx, Siena, Workabout and Workabout mx.

Symbian was a company formed by Psion and the mobile phone manufacturers.Symbian OS is a newer version of the old Psion EPOC operating system. The first released version under the Symbian OS brand was v6.0. Only two mobile phones were released before the name change, and these were retrospectively rebranded from EPOC to Symbian OS v5.0.
Psion still have EPOC products that they support (handheld devices etc) - and sites relating to EPOC products can be found in: Computers/Mobile_Computing/Symbian/EPOC.
