Please submit sites here that are specifically about chat(ter)bots.
Also known as chatbots, these are computer programs, web-based or not, with which one can hold a conversation. Some simulate artificial intelligence and many are humorous in nature.

ALICE

Please submit sites here that concern themselves with ALICE or support the AIML architecture.
A.L.I.C.E. stands for Artificial Linguistic (Internet) Computer Entity. It is a project born out of the original Eliza chatbot; developed by Dr. Richard Wallace and furthered by many other people.

There is now a non-standard XML-based AIML (Artifical Intelligence Markup Language) Internet architecture, which is also in development.

Racter

Please submit sites here that are specifically about the Racter software.
Racter -- derived from "raconteur" -- is similar to the Eliza and ALICE programs; it simulates artificial intelligence and insanity. A program that interviews you, tells you stories and anecdotes.
