Top: Business: Arts_and_Entertainment: Tools_and_Equipment: Staging

This category contains manufacturers, sellers, renters, and all other suppliers of stages and related equipment. For the purposes of this category, "related equipment" includes platforms and risers, bleachers, seating, ramps, and crowd control barriers, as well as truss, towers, stage roofs, and large circus-type tents.

Please submit to the appropriate subcategories where possible. For companies which supply more than just staging related equipment, find an appropriate broader subcategory of Business: Arts and Entertainment: Tools and Equipment.

Concerts, theatrical productions, and large outdoor events typically require a stage where the performance takes place and somewhere for the audience to sit or stand. Many companies specialize in supplying stages and the accompanying truss and roofs, as well as stairs, ramps, crowd barriers, seating, and other related items.

Mobile Stages

Manufacturers, sellers and renters of mobile stages for use at fairs, festivals, and concerts.

For the purposes of this category, mobile stages are stages which are built into a truck or trailer and intended to be driven to the event location then unfolded for use.

Platforms and Risers

Please submit sites whose main focus is lightweight portable platforms and risers for entertainment industry and related uses.

Sites focusing on heavier duty staging may be submitted here if it is modular platform style staging. For more complex custom heavy duty concert touring stages please submit to the parent category, Business: Arts and Entertainment: Tools and Equipment: Staging.

Lightweight, portable stage sections, often folding. Used for drums, choirs, and other light duty applications particularly in rentals and for venues where the setup is constantly changing and stage sections need to be easy to move about and store.

Tents and Canvas Structures

This category is for companies which manufacture, distribute, sell, rent or repair large tents and canvas structures used in staging and other entertainment industry related contexts. Some examples are stage roofing, enclosures and bandshells, and circus tents.

Companies whose products are more intended for industrial or architectural use should submit to Business: Construction and Maintenance: Materials and Supplies: Special Construction: Fabric Structures.

Companies which sell canvas carports, portable screen houses, garden shelters, and so forth should submit to Shopping: Home and Garden: Outdoor Structures.

Companies whose products are aimed more at the camping industry should be submitted to Recreation: Outdoors: Equipment: Tents.

For easy ups, pop ups, canopies, and all other lightweight portable sales shelters for outdoor and festival use, often with corporate logo printed on, please see Business: Business Services: Event Planning and Production: Convention and Trade Show Services: Exhibit and Display Vendors: Outdoor Canopies.

For local party tent rentals, please find your city in Regional and submit to either the Business and Economy subcategory or Business and Economy: Event Planning if it exists. Thank you.

These are very large tents used by circuses and other large shows. This category also contains canvas stage covers, tents intended for use as theatres, and other entertainment industry specific canvas structures.

Truss, Roofs and Towers

This category is for manufacturers and suppliers of truss, towers, and related products. For companies which do more than just truss and towers, please submit to a broader category.

Large concert stages often have towers or overhead lighting rigs made of welded aluminum or steel truss. The truss is usually modular, designed to be taken apart and transported by truck from venue to venue. Sometimes it is curved or in other custom shapes.
