The Corel LINUX Community - A nice site with great freebies such as Corel WordPerfect 8 for Linux, Photo-Paint 9 for Linux, and Corel Linux Second Edition. Corel also offers some commercial Linux applications.
Crusoe - a new world of mobility from Transmeta - The creators of the new Crusoe RISC processor with Code Morphing technology. This is the company that Linus Torvalds works at, and also is offering Mobile Linux for it's processor.
freshmeat.net - A great site for pretty much any UNIX/Linux application you could ever want.
Linux Today - A popular source for the latest in Linux and Open Source news.
LinuxApps - This directory has a truely massive amount of Linux applications.
Mandrake Linux - The Linux distro I use on my desktop. It's extremely friendly, but has lots of goodies for more experienced users too.
Open for Business - I'm the editor of this site, which is a Journal to help IT workers migrate to Linux.
pclinuxonline.com - Site with Linux news and information, along with a collection of enhanced RPM's for Mandrake systems and an Athlon-enhanced version of Mandrake.
Slashdot - The self proclaimed site for "News for Nerds, Stuff that Matters." Usually has interesting stuff.
SuSE, Inc. - SuSE provides an excellent Linux distribution, especially for desktop usage. While I no longer use them for my desktop, they are an excellent distro.
Wide Open News - RedHat's independant journal of the open-source movement. It features news on all of the Linux distributions, not just RedHat Linux.
XFSFT Tools - This site offers pre-compiled RPMS (I've tested them on SuSE and RedHat) of XFSFT, the X TrueType Font Server. It also features the useful TrueType font scale creator for creating a XFS compatible font.scale file. (Note: XFSFT isn't really useful for those using XF86 4.x, but the font.scale creator is still very useful)
