• CSpotRun - Somewhat limited reader for PalmPilot DOC files. Lets you squish a lot of text on screen and rotate the text. The price is right, though: Free. I've used it to read Ben Franklin's autobiography, the Psalms, and a few other Christian writings.
• DiddleBug - Acts as an electronic PostIt note with an alarm or countdown timer to remind you of appointments and other things. This is awesome! No more PostIt notes stuck to my PalmPilot case. Great for quick notes and reminders. Freeware.
• Moon Phase - Displays the phase of the moon for any given day. Freeware.
• PunchClock - Clock in and out of various projects. Terrific for contractors who need to track of time for billing. Simple and easy to use. Free beta.
• Scripture by Servant Software - Carry the NIV, RSV or KJV Bible on your PalmPilot. Excellent, clean interface. Enter a chapter number and it jumps to the chapter. Supports Search as well. Free for personal use. Sadly, this software is no more. It has been replaced with MyBible. Similar interface. $29.99 Commercial software.
• SmartDoc - Allows you to read, create, edit, and distribute PalmPilot Doc format documents. What MemoPad should have been. $19.95 Shareware.
• Spec - Small (9K) application for viewing Image Viewer format images. Supports grayscale and black & white images. Images larger than the screen can be scrolled. Toolbar provides palette and image controls. Freeware. This lets me carry around pictures of my kids.
