Top: Bookmarks: R: rpfuller

These are my bookmarks. Not very exciting, but then you probably didn't come here for excitement...

:)

Bizarre

Anything I found a bit bizarre. This includes, but is not exclusively limited to:

  • Sites offering unusual services
  • Sites submitted with unusual reason fields
  • Sites that have very strange opinions, ideas or haven't quite got their facts right ;o)
  • Bookmarklets

Note: These bookmarklets are only of use to editors that can add URL notes.

    Instructions:

  • First install the bookmarklet you want. The standard version works in Mozilla, there are separate versions for Netscape (NS) and MS Internet Explorer (IE). There are also separate versions for unreviewed.

Then, when you want to replace a Test/SEN listing with a URL note:

  • Fill in the body of the URL note you want in the ODP Note field, e.g. "Mass submissions across Business/Widgets". The title of the note will automatically be "See Editor Notes"
  • Choose the colour of note you want. Where do I do that I hear you cry... Well, you use the update/delete/move to unreviewed radio buttons. Choose "Update" to leave a red note, and any other one to leave a yellow note. The added bonus of this is that you can choose an appropriate default in your profile settings if you want to leave a lot of notes of one colour.

When you've done that, just use the bookmarklet. It'll add the note, and delete the listing.

  • How Not to Design a Web Site

Only really badly designed sites may be submitted.

Contains examples of how you should not design a web site. Please, if you ever design a web site, it should not look like any of these.

If you want to suggest a site for this category, feel free to send it along. If you think any of the descriptions aren't doing the badness of any site justice, feel free to suggest 'improvements'.

    Most of all, enjoy.

    Best Bookmarks Category

    I am an addict

This is rpfuller's category and he is the only assigned editor!

*munch munch munch* That's what he thinks... *crunch*

    ODP

If you find a thread involving one of these bugs that I haven't listed, please do send it over. :)

    Welcome to the ODP.

    Richard

    Test

This category is for sites about microwaving, burning, or otherwise destroying CDs for art, for entertainment, or for science. It is not for sites about commercial CD shredding, or other secure disposal methods.

    Top Level Categories

If you visit this category you can see how many sites are in each high level category, and how many are in the entire ODP.

If you have edit of this category (that'd be me) then you can see how many unreviewed and errors there are in each high level category, and how many are in the entire ODP.

    Just out of interest.

    University of Cambridge

Please submit only sites relating to Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge.

This category contains categories I will catmv over to Reference/Education/Colleges_and_Universities/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/University_of_Cambridge once I have finished setting them up, and adding sites to them.
